Keep the Fire Burning

Our Community Research Officer, Kylie Greatbatch took a group of amazing Orange leaders to Condobolin NSW to help them celebrate NAIDOC Week.

The Garru Dance Group (Magpie in Wiradjuri) from Orange NSW, travelled to Condobolin Primary School to help them Celebrate NAIDOC Week 2024.

The Garru Dance Group ran 7 workshops during the day. The girls shared unique storytelling process through dance to engage students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

They built relationships with one another, were proud, respectful leaders and shared beautiful unique stories through elements of country. Such an amazing leadership opportunity, to share Cultural knowledge with another School Community.
