Masterclasses and Intensives

Using the guiding lens of the Stronger Smarter Approach, Masterclasses provide the deeper learning to work with the complex challenges you may find in your schools and organisations.

Masterclasses and Intensives

Delivered nationally, our Masterclasses and Intensives respond to the realities of leading in complex environments.

Each experience combines deep thinking with practical tools, enabling participants to apply insights immediately within schools, organisations and policy environments.

Education Masterclass (2 days)

Our Masterclasses are designed for school leaders, teachers and educators, focussing on strengthening culture, relationships and practice within schools.

Masterclasses are grounded in real world educational contexts and support participants to apply high expectations thinking directly to classrooms, staff teams and school communities.

Day 1  Attendance – From Compliance to Connectedness

For decades, school attendance has been framed through a truancy lens. Yet Indigenous attendance gaps persist, and in many places are worsening.

This course offers a different way forward. Grounded in Indigenous scholarship and national evidence, this course reframes attendance as a systems-level signal of connection, trust, and belonging – not individual failure.

Gain a clear framework and practical strategies to redesign the systems, relationships and community partnerships that shape attendance outcomes.

Day 2 Emotional Agencey and Relational Integrity in the Workplace

How people feel at work shapes how they think, relate, lead, comply, withdraw, or resist.

This course explores how emotions shape behaviour, power, and relationships – and how emotional agency can drive wellbeing, accountability, and real outcomes.

Strengthen your workplace culture as you understand emotions not as weaknesses to manage, but as signals of culture and power. Move from emotional servitude toward High-Expectations Relationships grounded in strength, belief, and responsibility.

One Day Intensives

Designed for senior leaders and public policy professionals working in complex, high-stakes environments, our Intensives provide a deeper, system-level exploration of leadership, identity and policy design, particularly for work that impacts First Nations and multicultural communities.

These sessions focus on shaping policy frameworks, organisational cultures and decision making in complex government and public sector environments.

From Principles to Practice: Designing strengths-based policy that actually works

Well intentioned policy can still fail when it overlooks the lived realities, identities and agency of the people it is meant to serve.

This one-day Intensive will introduce you to the concept of the Concrete Universal – a way of understanding how shared human dignity and individual lived experience interact in shaping policy outcomes.

Through reflection, discussion, and practical exercises, you will explore how policy can either undermine or strengthen the humanity of the people it targets. Moving from theory to practice, you will explore a framework for designing strengths-based policy grounded in High-Expectations Relationships.
