The Stronger Smarter Institute is committed to the safety and well-being of our staff, students and wider communities. Following the successful completion of our flagship National Stronger Smarter Leadership Program™ in Cherbourg on Friday 20th March 2020, we have made the proactive and precautionary decision to close our public facing offices to assist in reducing the spread of COVID-19. From today, until further notice.
These decisions have been made following consultations with our education system networks, other partners, participants and local community. We want to reassure you that we have followed all recommended safety precautions outlined by the Australian Government and the relevant health jurisdictions and will continue to make decisions based on the advice provided.
The Institute would like to acknowledge our corporate partners for providing industry-leading advice and collaboration opportunities to respond to the unprecedented challenges presented by COVID-19. We would like to especially thank NAB, Salesforce, the Origin Foundation, Paper Giants and Educational Services Australia for supporting our operations through High-Expectations Relationships and Strength Based Approaches. We also acknowledge the ongoing support of the Commonwealth Government through the National Indigenous Australians Agency.
To our valued participants who were scheduled to undertake a transformative Stronger Smarter™ program over the next few months; we will work with you to reschedule your program. The needs for expert educators to be leading and guiding our Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander school children to achieve educational success has not diminished. Our Indigenous communities, as with many communities around the country, are currently being challenged. We will be asking for support from our valued educational and corporate partners, to assist the Stronger Smarter Institute to face these challenges and emerge stronger than ever. We have a number of transformational internal projects underway which will set us up to serve you “Our Eagles” better in the future.
The Institute has a range of online resources available at www.strongersmarter.com.au. We are currently developing virtual training circles to allow partners to continue to deepen their engagement with the Stronger Smarter Approach™.
